Rocks, Frost & Ice

This is another from my series of snow pictures taken in Griffith Wood. The sun was very low in the sky, but there was enough light to reflect off the wet rocks in the water. The ice on the water has a lovely lacy look to it, but I particularly like the way the frost covers everything, even the snow, giving it the look of white fur. I gave this image a very subtle selenium tone which gives it a slight bluish look and enhances the black and white effect. Over the next few weeks I shall share some more of these snow pictures as I find them so amazingly beautiful.
